The Pump Inside Your Pump — Kawasaki's Hidden Role
Your Hitachi, Doosan, Sumitomo, or Kobelco excavator probably runs a Kawasaki K3V pump — even though it doesn't say Kawasaki on the door. K3V112DT, K3V180DT, K5V200 — we supply tested refurbished units for the machines that actually use them.
Look for this nameplate on the pump body — if you see K3V or K5V, you need a Kawasaki replacement.
Kawasaki Precision Machinery is one of the world's largest OEM hydraulic pump suppliers to the excavator industry — and most machine owners never realise it. When you buy a Hitachi ZX200, there's a good chance the pump driving the excavator functions is stamped K3V112DT, not Hitachi. This means the right replacement is a Kawasaki unit — and PumpGrid's refurbished K3V series pumps are the tested, warranted, cost-effective answer.

K3V112DT has multiple variants — DT, DTP, DTFJ etc. Confirm from your pump's nameplate before ordering.
Look for a metal nameplate stamped or riveted to the pump body — usually on the side or rear face. It will carry the full model number (e.g. K3V112DTP-1R9R-9N2A) and serial number.
The suffix letters after K3V112DT matter: they indicate shaft type, port orientation, and control configuration. "DT" = standard tandem. "DTP" = through-drive variant. "DTFJ" = different flange. These affect fitment directly.
The fastest way — photograph the nameplate and send it to us on WhatsApp. We identify the exact variant within the hour and confirm if we have a match in stock. No guesswork, no wrong part ordered.
The K3V series wears predictably — piston slipper pads, barrel face, and valve plate. Our refurbishment technicians know exactly what to measure and what to replace. There's no guesswork because the failure mode is well-understood.
A K3V112DT from a Hitachi ZX200 is not the same as a K3V112DT from a Doosan DX225 — shaft spline and port layout differ. We verify your exact variant from the nameplate photo before any pump leaves our network.
K3V pumps in excavators operate as tandem units — both pumps running simultaneously under load. We test at rated pressure with both circuits loaded to simulate actual excavator working conditions.
Ordering a K3V112DT through a Hitachi or Doosan dealer often comes with OEM-branded pricing. The same pump, properly refurbished from PumpGrid, costs 40-60% less — because you're paying for the pump, not the badge on the machine it came from.
